He does not merely sell or distribute batik; he has also mastered the intricacies of its production. His batik—like Pekalongan batik in general—reflects significant Chinese and Arabian influences. It features distinctive flora and fauna motifs combined with geometric patterns—such as grids or broken lines and dots—and tends to utilize bright colors.
