House of Distraw was founded by Kusniati Surjandini on March 12, 2017, inspired by the belief that every fiber, hue, and imprint of nature holds a story worth bringing back to life. House of Distraw creates fashion and lifestyle products, including bags, accessories, and home décor, through textile craftsmanship and the exploration of ecoprint, shibori, patchwork, weaving, and natural dyeing. Each piece reflects respect for artisanal skills, the creative process, and Indonesia's rich botanical heritage. As a women-led enterprise, House of Distraw embraces environmentally responsible production while creating authentic, functional, and high-value products for domestic and international markets.
