My journey into making noodles began quite simply: my child loves them. But why sago? The answer lies in my home, Maluku, where sago is incredibly abundant. I saw an opportunity to utilize this local resource, not just for my family, but to bring prosperity to our sago farmers. They invest so much time and effort into processing sago, yet often don't see the returns they deserve. This concern for our sago farmers sparked an idea: how could sago be enjoyed by more people, in a modern way? While papeda, a traditional sago dish, isn't for everyone, noodles have universal appeal – from children to adults.
