"Rumah Rajut Fayari" in Payakumbuh was established on January 1, 2018. It focuses on developing knitting and craft skills, with its main product being knitted bags using the technique of net knitting. Fayari has released 15 patterns and 42 models of bags in various sizes. They combine hand embroidery with knitting yarn instead of embroidery thread, and also incorporate motifs from Tenun Balai Panjang, a traditional woven fabric from Payakumbuh. Fayari empowers women aged 16 to 62 through knitting training programs. Their knitted products are environmentally friendly, with minimal waste.
