The Menara Kudus Mosque is one of the old mosques on the island of Java, located in Kudus Regency, which has witnessed the history of acculturation between Javanese, Hindu and Islamic cultures. The mosque which was built by Ja'far Sodiq or better known as Sunan Kudus in 956 H has a unique shape. The shape of the tower is like a temple.
