Batik Pinang Sirih was established in 2015, inspired by the rich Malay heritage that values balance, fertility, and prosperity. Our batik designs reflect the unique flora and fauna of Bangka Belitung, using soft coastal tones that highlight the distinct charm of local wastra fabrics. Beyond producing batik, we also empower women in our community by training them to repurpose leftover batik fabric into creative products. These training programs are conducted through a forum of local artisans in Pangkalpinang, combining cultural preservation with community empowerment.
