They combine hand embroidery with knitting yarn instead of embroidery thread, and also incorporate motifs from Tenun Balai Panjang, a traditional woven fabric from Payakumbuh. Fayari empowers women aged 16 to 62 through knitting training programs. Their knitted products are environmentally friendly, with minimal waste.
