Tenun Sipirok was founded in 2015 by Mr. Ilyas Simatupang. Produces a variety of woven and songket fabrics with motifs typical of the Angkola Batak customs. Tenun Sipirok continues to develop motifs, colors and innovates to produce the best woven products in Tapanuli Selatan. In addition to the aim of increasing productivity and profit, Tenun Sipirok also actively encourages the regeneration of weavers by fostering public love, especially the younger generation, for the weaving process.
