The story of Ralsasam Woven Fabric MSME is rooted in humble beginnings and a deep understanding of tradition. It began with an elder, knowledgeable in local customs, who set out to achieve his dreams while steadfastly committed to showcasing Tanimbar's culture. Though established in the 1990s, Ralsasam truly gained prominence around 2010. Since then, we've evolved our offerings to include unique fabrics crafted with natural dyes, all still meticulously handmade using resources from Ambon, Maluku province. A key advantage of our fabric lies in its traditional "gedogan" weaving method and the use of double-strand threads.
