Rapidino Tenun Ternate

Rapidino comes from the Ternate language and means woven fabric. Weaving is a centuries-old tradition practiced by the people of Ternate, particularly in the Koloncucu of Toboleu Village. This cultural heritage has been passed down from generation to generation and continues to this day using the traditional gedogan loom. To ensure the sustainability of this valuable tradition, efforts have been made to regenerate the weaving community by training younger generations while also introducing the Non-Machine Loom (ATBM). Innovation motifs inspired by Ternate's rich culture and natural beauty. These include the clove motif, bird-of-paradise motif, juanga (traditional war canoe) motif, bamboo motif, and many others.
