Gula Semut Molomamua

Molomamua Ant Sugar was established on April 1, 2020, on Mount Molomamua, West Ogotumubu Village. Molomamua Ant Sugar is an impactful and sustainable social enterprise that develops local potential from the forest products of the Lauje Tribe's Remote Indigenous Community (KAT), namely Palm Sap which is processed into Palm Sugar. Currently, there are 30 Molomamua Ant Sugar farmers. They can produce 2-3 tons of palm sugar/month. Currently, the products produced are Red Ginger Ant Sugar, Original Ant Sugar and Liquid Palm Sugar. The advantage of Molomamua Ant Sugar products is that they use natural fermentation which is a cultural heritage of the Lauje tribe, namely bayur roots when collecting palm sap.
